, Marvel is wooing the Islamic world by launching a new comic where the protagonist is a Muslim girl with super powers. Called Ms. Marvel, the comic will revolve around the life and times ofKamala Khan.

As exciting as it sounds, we can’t help wondering if the timing of this concept has been inspired by a certain super girl who has made waves across the road for her bravery and fortitude – Malala Yousafzai.

If ever there was a modern-day superwoman from the Muslim world, it would have to be Malala. So we hope that creators Sana Amanat and G. Willow Willson take inspiration from her for their new comic in the future.
