Matar Pulao Qeema Recipes

Matar Pulao Qeema by Chef Zakir from Dawat. This mouth-watering “Main Course” recipe for Matar Pulao Qeema can be prepared in 30 minutes and serves 2-4 people.

Recipe Ingredients

  • Rice300 gm
  • Mince300 gm
  • Peas200 gm
  • Potatoes2
  • Whole black lentil100 gm
  • Onion1
  • Star anise4
  • Green chilies4
  • Ghee½ cup
  • Ginger garlic paste2 tbsp
  • Saltto taste
  • Button red chilies6 – 8
  • Wateras required

Recipe Method

  1. Heat ½ cup ghee in a pan, add in 2 tbsp ginger garlic paste and fry well.
  2. Then add 4 chopped green chilies, 6 – 8 button red chilies and 4 star anise. Fry well for 2 – 3 minutes.
  3. Now add 2 boiled chopped potatoes, 200 gm boiled peas and 100 gm boiled black lentils, mix well and cook for 2 – 3 minutes.
  4. Add 1 ½ glass of water, cook till it comes to a boil. Add in 300 gm soaked rice.
  5. Cook till rice comes on top. Then simmer on low flame for 8 – 10 minutes.
  6. Dish it out, serve hot.
