New Technology Can Charge Your Smartphone In 30 Seconds

Are you someone who is very worried about your smartphone that runs out of battery within few hours? Now you do not have to get worried at all as you can now get it charged within 30 seconds. Well this is possible with the help of a prototype charger that has assured of charging a device from 0 to 100 percent and that too in just half a minute.

This prototype has been introduced by an Israeli firm dubbed StoreDot. It was announced at Think Next Conference by Microsoft in Tel Aviv. According to news, the prototype charger for the Samsung Galaxy S4 has been developed by StoreDot where the costing would be twice that of a regular charger which would come up to $30 and it has been learnt that in the late 2016, it would go under commercial production.

It was through a video that the prototype charge of the Galaxy S4 was demoed by the Israeli company that showed a laptop charger size device which is placed that the rear panel of the smartphone. It was noted that the battery status of the phone before plugging the StoreDot’s prototype charge was at 27 percent.

It has also been known that before the company wishes to go for commercial production, the size of the prototype charger would be reduced. It can be mentioned that for the use of bio-inspired nanotechnology. StoreDot proves to be famous and the charger would also utilize quantum dot technology as well.

Dr Doron Myserdorf, the CEO and founder of StoreDot said that they are about one year from a functional prototype that would be inside the device. For the time being a battery is shown that helps in extending beyond the form factor of the smartphone.

iPhone 6 to sport 5.5-inch full-HD display

Finally Apple has entered into the screen size battle. This was made when it launched two iPhones that has got large screen sizes. According to Ming Chi-Kuo, two new iPhone models would debut by Apple this year that would sport 5.5 inch and 4.7 inch display. According to him, the new iPhone would have high end 5.5. inch with a higher screen resolution of 1080×1920 pixel along with full HD.

With a pixel density of 401 ppi, the 4.7 inch model would have a lower screen resolution and would have a density of 326ppi. It has been further said by Chi-Kuo that both the models of iPhone would arrive with next generation A8 chips and that too with 1GB of RAM. It would have a touch panels with low temperature and would also have TouchID fingerprint security. It has been anticipated that both iPhone models would come with NFC as well as metal casing.

Regarding its camera, it would have 8 megapixel where both models would have f/2.2 aperture. It has also been assumed that this iPhone would have optical image stabilisaton with improved low light performances. When it comes to its design, it has been claimed that there would be bezels included in the next models of iPhone that would have a thickness of 6.5 to 7mm.

There would also be shift in the power button where it would be seen on the side of the device in order to make the users comfortable with one hand use. It has also been rumored that the 4.7 inch iPhone6 would enter in production in the month of July. The company is expecting that this iPhone would hit 60 million unite. So, we would only know about the response once it is out in the market.

Nokia X Gets First Source-Built Custom Android ROM

With lots of competitions going around between different companies, it has been seen that that new smartphones and mobile phones have been introduced in order to capture the market. The latest news that has come is that it was announced at the sidelines of the MWX 2014 that the Nokia X family which is based on the Android Open Source Projects (AOSP) would now reach to the market.

According to reports, it has been learnt that the first source-built AOSP Jelly Bean 4.1.2 which is based on Code Aurora would be able to receive by Nokia X. The source code from Code Aurora would be relied by the firmware that would comprise of vanilla Android as well as other specific enhancements and Qualcomm optimization. When it comes to its network connectivity, thee list of working features would include FM radio, GPS, MTP, Media playback including sensors like brightness, rotation , proximity and so on.
