5 ways to beat everyday stress


When you are leading a life full of pressures, expectations and deadlines, even small things can trigger stress and panic. Here a few tips that you can include in your daily regimen to keep stress at bay.

Laugh – Shove a quick laugh in-between those taxing times at office or home to calm those jittery nerves. Watch a funny clip on You Tube, read some jokes or talk to a person who you think will surely make you smile. At times, you do need to make a conscious effort and find time to laugh.

Cook – Try to take out some time in the day to dish up a meal for yourself or your beloved ones. Specially, when you reach home after a stressful day at work, cooking can be therapeutic and help to de-stress and relax. It’s a great way to bond with family, too.

Meditate – Even if you can shut yourself for ten minutes from what is happening around you and concentrate on your breathing and inner self, it will ease off a lot of tension.
