We all tend to blame the sun, the pollution and the contaminated food products for all our skin problems. But the truth is that most of us indulge in habits that are much more damaging to our health and to our skin than pollution, sun and contaminated food products. These habits often make us our own worst skin-enemy. Are you one of those?
You are your own Worst Skin-Enemy if...
- You sleep with your makeup on. This causes clogged pores and leads to acne.
- Take in too much caffeine because it dehydrates your skin completely!
- You are on a crash diet to lose weight. The diet will not just drop kilos but also rob your body of vitamins and minerals that are necessary for healthy skin.
- Pop your pimples. This is the easiest way to spread the bateria on your face and make them go in even deeper!
- You don't drink enough water. 8-10 glasses a day is the minimum requirement for healthy adults who have a healthy skin.
- Your salt intake is a little too high. This leads to dehydration of your skin.
- You use too many chemical products like facewash, creams, cosmetics etc on your skin.
